    Anyone here into torrents? I have a couple private torrent sites and won't mind sharing some invites.

    yeah i use torrents a lot to get movies mostly and sometimes programs, any advantages to using your private torrent sites?

    Well, I have some very high level trackers. I use private sites so as to limit the risk of viruses.

    private torrent websites usually have faster downloads, and are less prone to uploads containing malicious files.

    but remember, on these websites you will usually have to maintain an seed ratio. if you're more into downloading and cutting, then stick to the public sites.

    i've always thought uploading a lot makes you stick out more to your ISP, but that's just my opinion. it probably isn't true.

    it does make your ISP stick out more. Because the same downloading and upload goes to your Monthly Data Usage of GB. For instance I have 150GB per month. I was downloading so much shit, that my ISP sent me data usage warnings and by the time I read the email. I went over by 25.6GB which cost me about 5.37$ USD. So just for some insight, just download what you really want to download unless you want to start getting those warnings like I did. just saying.
