Actually, there were quite a few sing overs in Backyard Jam, most of the songs Yasmin sung were sing overs, original artist is Ramdew Chaitoe.

 

yea man dat bass and the beats were clean

 

because these ramdew chaitoe versions were so common right? and everyone knows them.

keep in mind if you listen to any chutney songs ITS ALL A RESING OF SOMETHING ELSE.
98 percent of chutney music is a resing.
even chiatoe was resinging songs.

I'm quite aware of that lamont, but I haven't heard much remixes for Chaitoe until VP and Jones came into play. However, I do like Queen Yasmin, I saw her performed a few years ago right in NY, she's still fyah!

Wildchild, those are all movie songs. I've a few of them.

 

Chaitoe songs drift so much most newer djs cant mix them and some older djs just dont have time with them lol

 

there have been other dj's long before jones and vishal
that brought chaitoe around.

indiflo was one of them and the consistantly bring a chaitoe or oldddd chutney song to everyone of there cds.

queen yasmin is amazing period.

I've heard some of Indiflo's old chutney mixes, they're pretty good, I'm a fan of his work as well. Btw, do you have Queen Yasmin's cd "Chaitoe Chutney"? If you do, can you post it up, please.

 

i think indiflo does some of the best oldies remix songs

 

BKJ2 was pretty good but mostly i prefer the 1st one,even jones said it himself that there was alot he wish he could have changed on the 2nd one

 

really i could of sworn he told me that there was allot he would of changed in the first one mix wise.

but then again i don't really like him so who cares.

 

speaking of chutney, word on the street... AOP's CD going to be the biggest hit and going to make a huge impact on people. remix wise.
