    hmm well i personally prefer a desktop over a laptop for the speed but i find myself moving around alot even around my house.. so both :p

    both are nice. Desktop because u can upgrade ur parts and hardware by ur self.

    but i chose laptop because its there when ever u need it. really convenient, only down fall is that some laptops over heat really badly.

    o hell yea i lost like 10lbs lol cause my 17'' in laptop throws heat like the dam heater is on for real im not playing the dam ac is on and im sweating like i ran a whole lot lol i hate it

    they both have their advantages. you can go anywhere with a laptop, but it can't handle the high end stuff that desktops can handle. e. g H D video editing, Games and a whole lot of other stuff.

    before i thought a desktop was the best thing for me, but then ever since i had my inspiron 17, the desktop seemed like a piece of shit. i get everything done effectively and efficiently on my laptop.

    For Me, Desktop is always about Hardcore...Powerful tasks,Notebook can't withstand with a desktop when it comes to raw power...So, for Me DESKTOP is BEST.
