I downloaded a program called SpeedFan. it allows you to change your computer fan speed and it tells you the temperature your computers hard drive and much more. According to the program my computer runs at 32 degrees Celsius which is about 90 degrees Fahrenheit with Fan 1 at 2411 rpm and fan 2 at 1125 rpm. so what temperature does your computer run at?

btw question, wouldnt it kill your battery if your fan was working above its minimum requirements ?

What model is your computer, the newer models have an internal thermometer, which senses when to shut ur comp off for u

    Idle Temps:

    CPU:45C
    GPU:60C
    MB: 45C

After Left 4 Dead 2 & Other Games:

    CPU:50C
    GPU:70C
    MB: 51C

thats actually not hot lol, good temps, all fans and heatsinks are brand new, its a new build , and ive added better ventillation on this build

    http://mastahpiece.com/forum/computers-technology/55178-my-new-pc-build-oct-19th-2011-a.html

depends on the components ur runnning rly, some run normally hotter than others, is cost me abt $1,400 to do my original first build, but to upgrade to what i have now, cost about $500

u need a motherboard, cpu, power supply and ram to run a functional computer.

average motherboards are in atx form, you can find casses that are mid tower atx and full tower atx, etc. the bigger the case, the more space inside obviously.

check out newegg.com for all your parts, thats where i buy all mine.

you would but thats optional, up to you because some motherboards have built in video cards(integrated)

@Mix Man Ardent- I'm talking about a desktop not a laptop. you could get the program from cnet. my computer is a hp from 2007 and it had the internal thermometer so i think yours should have it

@DJ Sheriff Damm your computer gets hot. your computer hits above 113 Fahrenheit. whem last you cleaned the fans and heatsink?

hmmm i wonder why my computer runs at around 30-35 Celsius according to speedfan. around how much is it to build a computer?

Hey bro, im new to all this building a computer crap. what is needed to build a computer? how do you know which motherboard will fit in the computer cases?

Would i need a video card too?

they do, but they're almost always 100% pieces of crap.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

my pc is in the basement so it almost always runs very cool.

i have one massive fan for the CPU, and it has its own controller, I never have to even touch it. I keep it low to minimize the noise.

all i know is that my gpu runs at about 34 idle.

under a really heavy load, i've maxed it at around 53.

both of those measurements are in degrees celcius

Ahhh I feel kinda sad posting my temps lol </3

These are the temps on my custom build.

    Idle:

    CPU: 40 C
    GFX Card: 45 C

When I'm gaming, my cpu temps don't move much. Since I have a quad core, two cores stay at about 40 to 41 c and the other two cores... one is 31 and the other is 36. o_O I use EVGA Precision/Rivatuner to tune my gfx card. If I'm gaming it's about 50c. These all are my temps without my 15% dummy o.c on.

I use Speccy. It tells you cpu, motherboard and harddrive temp too plus other info about your computer and it free from filehoppo. CPU-Z - CPUID tells you good info too.

my cpu runs hot @ 200-210 F - but its in a crammed space, so I don't expect it to be extra cold .

I find that if you open it up and take a air can to it, you usually can shave off about 5-10 degrees.

Pump is not noisy at all, I'm using a fan controller so don't really hear the fans
