Lol, well you have your opinion and that's great and all. But let's not stay away from the fact that you think that youre better at mixing live.. until you show me what you can do on the same equipment I used, your opinion doesn't phase me.
^this IS VIRTUAL DJ NOT LIVE MIXING?????? ok i can sync 2 songs with a button, you can sync it with a pitch slider. but what about after its synced? THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL, thats where your SONG SELECTION & KNOWLEDGE come into play. and everyone can stfu about waveforms serato has even more detailed waveforms that virtual dj. anyone can watch the 2 bpms in serato and adjust the pitch until it matches. gtfo here. im not tryna phase you or talk shit. you all should take this as constructive criticism. you acting like im telling you something wrong. if i was we'd have some of the big live djs on this site telling me im wrong.
I agree with your first statement. The sync button doesn't make a difference. Pressing the sync button is the same as matching the BPM's of two songs with pitch sliders. It's all about how the blend sounds and if you timed it good. You still need to pitch bend even though you press the sync button. I find it easier for me to DJ on Serato than on Virtual DJ.
My question is how does a dj rate a dj? lol some of you are forgetting your jobs. Also, I'll agree it takes more effort to mix on actual mixers/controllers vs just sitting there and dragging files on a virtual deck. But unless you guys are doing something unique with your mix (other than the ordinary) than I don't think there's a need to debate whose mix is better, cause these mixes aren't something out of the ordinary. If there is a round two, there should be no songs running longer than 45 seconds (not even 30 seconds) and not have songs coming in like it would at Aunty Pankreesingh's anniversary party, unless you're trying to get booked from this of course lol.
