The camera (picture & video) on the HTC one is supposedly really shitty. If you like to take photos, the S4 might be a better option. And the battery life on the S4 is better. BUT, I do have to agree that the HTC One looks a lot sexier. The sound quality from the phone speakers is said to be the best ever from a phone. At the end of the day though, I want something reliable & functioning, and I'm a heavy caller/texter, so I need the better battery life. But damn it.. the S4 is TOOOO BIG. decisions...

    Features: S4 > HTC One
    Specs: HTC One > S4

The camera on the HTC one is 4 ultra pixels which is pretty much equivalent to a 13MP camera which is on the S4.

HTC One is a better phone in general. The S4 only has better features such as eye scroll etc...

Honestly, i've been in love with HTC products for a long time. My favor is to the HTC one however, fixing and replacing parts for the HTC phones are extremely difficult and the chance of wrecking the phone during repair is in the higher percentile. I've heard that while the S4 is still moderately difficult to repair, the chance of destroying the phone is ultimately lower.

I'm currently an S4 user and I have to say i'm a bit disappointed. I upgraded from an Iphone 4s to the S4 and it was really great at first. But as with every android device i've used in the past, they just start going down in both performance, battery life, etc. Im considering going back to iphone mostly because of the os. Android has a lot to improve on imo.
