    I've never had any issue with Winamp. I've been using that since I started using a pc.

    Itunes because i use it to sync all my devices, ipad, iphone... Plus its more organized in my itunes.

    Media Player is limited to select video/audio codecs
    VLC Media Player covers a bigger scope & plays & sounds great on ALL OS Platforms

    For audio i use Windows Media Player, i keep it simple. For video i use VLC and Media Player Classic.

    Windows media player for audio, easy and simple. For video, I use VLC which I find has the best quality.
