Haven't unlocked an iPhone in a long time... I have my brother in law's here with me and its on 6.1.

I saw on YouTube as a top comment for this site
    http://uliphone.com/unlocker/

Can anyone verify the legitimacy of this site? Or.. anyone know of a WORKING free method?

If there is no free method, no biggie, I'll pay for the unlock skunt.

think its better you contact the provider and pay them $50 to unlock it. I don't believe there is a proper jailbreak for 6.1

    Well herrow.

    Hope you're doing well Trev.

My dad has the Iphone 4, and I actually got super confused because I am unfamiliar with Apple products in general. Anyways I thought it was the 4s but it's actually the 4 because it takes the super tiny sim cards and from what I understand the 4s doesn't take sim. I'm probably wrong lol, (I have a windows phone, obviously lolol.) I don't even know what you call them, mini or micro or whatever. Also, I don't really trust the online websites for unlocking but then again I have never tried them.

Anyways long story short I actually took it to MetroPCs (ewww) and they unlocked it for me for 35 bucks. For me, I believe that was a hell of a bargain. They told me by that same time tomorrow it will be working and it was. We have T-Mobile so I also paid 20 dollars to switch to the smaller sim. I am aware that you can cut them but that wasn't a risk I felt like taking. But for 55 dollars I think it was worth it considering the phone was a gift to my dad. Anyways hope I helped.

Also, I heard that if you have AT&T service, or you previously had an IPhone on that service and you end up switching, they will unlock your phone free of charge. Good luck.
