If I'm honest, I'm not really seeing the point to this mix. That One By One beat is relatively similar to the beat on the original song - I dont feel your remix really adds anything to the track. And you eq'd too much out of the original - sounds a bit too empty, like theres no mids.
I wouldn't really consider any of my mixes really "finished" due to the simple fact that I have much still to learn, which is why none of them have download links. Thanks, I really appreciate your reply. My approach to this remix was pretty much "why not?" I meant it to be a simple, transnational track between the two different genres I.E. if I were running a set. As for the eq's, I'm definitely still learning and using pretty much entry level software to create this so I'm limited in a way to what exactly I can do. I definitely notice what you're talking about with mids seemingly non-existent. I would love to learn another more robust program, but they seem very intimidating as they are less user-friendly as I'm accustomed to.
