    a good notebook
    like a Samsung series 7 or a macbook
    its versatile yet powerful

    both have there ups and downs but i would go with notebook cause i travel alot. But of course if i could have both i would have both.

    I would use either one of them, it depends what im working on or if im on the go..

    Notebook = Portable & Convience
    Desktop = Reliable & Powerfull

    DEsktop wins for me man, can swap broken parts or upgrade much easier imo. And a desktop can fit into small itx/htcp form factors if u wanna bring it around.

    Notebooks are the best.. I love the convenience.. Id look dumb walking into class with a desktop on my back..

    For power i would go with a desktop...mobility i would go with a laptop

    desktops last longer because of reliable parts and better ventilation...laptops are reliable too but they break down faster because of heating issues due to insufficient cooling.

    Notebook because it is portable. Not any laptop of my is broken yet in my life!

    Definitely a notebook...mainly because its portable and can be carried at all times.

    Depends really what you are using it for. I.E. you would want a desktop for gaming as you can get the best performance for a better value, you could do gaming on a laptop too but more costly. I have a lenovo y500 with dual graphic cards, I believe 650m (x2) at the expense of a cd drive. On the other hand if you needed it for school and you wanted to take notes (or knock ah jack lol jk) you have the portability to do so.

    a destop will take more jarming and will last more longer

    both are great but you can do more upgrades with a desktop..
