    hey guys. i was just curious who is your favorite chutney artist or artists? here are some of my personal favorites (old or new doesn't matter)

    Babla and Kanchan
    Terry Gajraj (90s era)
    Anand Yankaran
    Rakesh Yankaran
    Rajin Danraj (few songs)

    i can go on and on but that just names a few.

    My #1 favorite chutney artist will always be Kanchan. No chutney artist today will ever be better than her. I also like Sundar Popo, Bidjanwatie Chaitoe, Ramdew Chaitoe, Anant Hansraj, Terry Gajraj, Devanand Gattoo, and Ashnie.

    Play a full Rasika CD and a full Kanchan CD at a party. The Kanchan CD would definitely have the bigger dancefloor. If you like Rasika, that's your opinion. You can't say Kanchan isn't nice though.

    Both are great..Kanchan CD will definitely have the dance floor overflowing. Now if you put her up against Sundar Popo..I feel you go have a tie.

    i don't know the difference of chutney or Baithak Gana?

    If there is please correct me...

    Artist:
    Babla&Kanchan sowiso! Master. In old times, in the time the cd's where very expensive i got songs from my uncle(kaka) on Casette!!!! Oldskool i still have them and an stereo where i can play it on!! Relaxseazion!!

    But also---- Ramdew Chaitoe (the KING of Baithak Gana), Kries Ramkhelawan, Faziel, Oemar, Drupati, Chedi, Sewgoelam....

    I also have an LP player whith like 100 of lp's from Surinam wich are from my Dad he is an big Chaitoe fan!!!


    LP's thats the best sound and medium to listen to Baithak Gana - People!!!!!!!!!
