in all honesty, its just for show. both Mac and PC have good and bad characteristics, and it all depends what you plan on doing with it. live djs i believe should have a mac while remixers or producers should stick to Windows, mostly because with windows you're able to get more softwares easily.

macs have always cornered the music editing industry and graphics editing .... it's the way to go , but for affordable options, pc's have improved especially when it comes to midi controllers, pc have just started to be an option.

For djing live mac are the best if you have the money. Serato was originally developed using OSX, which is mac. But alot of sound production software only use PC like Sony Acid.

Its your choice, you have the money go with mac, if not, get a high end pc.

Mac isn't to bad because there are a lot of good programs you can buy for them but I still prefer HP. I have had my HP laptop for 10 years. I do have other computers but my hp is still around and operational for a back up.
