To all the Serato users on here, what do you guys think about the new Serato DJ 1.6? I just updated my mine yesterday and I have to say I really like it. They made it very similar to Scratch Live. I also like the "stack" view they added. What do you guys think?

I have to agree its excellent for controller users, which is how I use it. I have to disagree where you say it's for new DJs. What does Scratch Live have that does Serato DJ doesn't?

It honestly comes down to comfort for me. I'm more comfortable with Scratch Live. I don't do controllers, so Serato DJ has no appeal to me. I would have rather seen the Scratch Live Interface with minor additions to make Serato DJ work for controllers. No one likes change.

Not sure, but have heard ( rumors ) that scratch live update that will come out in the future will carry the serato Dj software. That's why they both look very alike. Also look at the new rane mixer, it can run both live and Dj.

This I an update to my post. Here is a video post by serato
