HP is the best. Have my laptop for 5 years all original except the memory (upgraded from 4gb to 8gb) Dell is cheap garbage! I am a Support Analyst for 7 years now. Mac is the best if you have the money

apple is the best, sony is 2nd but expensive, acer is good if you're on a budget, hp would be 2nd if it was more reliable, and alienware if you're a gamer.

I have used Acer, Dell, Sony, HP, Toshiba and Dell wins hands down. Apple is probably better than all of them.

I've experienced Toshiba, Dell, Sony, HP, and Apple...My Toshiba is going on 10 years old, and when it goes, Im buying another one. Love Toshiba.

Just for regular household use...no extreme gaming, no business, no battlefield readiness

If you're using it for any kinda of audio or video production, I would suggest Apple Macbook Pro, if using for anything else, I would go for best bang for ur buck, sorry to say I can't stand windows anymore so basically ur preference, plus I wouldn't base a decision on a brand because it's the inside specs that really count.
