which is better windows 7 or window 8

    Windows 7 is better, but Windows 8 is usefull for Touch Screen Modus.

    windows 8 is very fast with the boot up and the upgrade thats coming will add the start menu back.

    Windows 8 is good with a touch screen interface.

    Most people are afraid to use windows 8, simply because it looks different. It was built around windows 7...after a few weeks of using 8 you will be fine using the os. I agree with most people though that 8 is better simply for touch.

    i feel to punch the computer that have window 8. it aggravate me to the fullest.

    for now i think windows 7 but later on it will be window 8.. only for touch screen.

    7 is more efficient for desktop use, 8 should have been tablets only

    IMO I believe windows 7 has a much user friendly interface, we currently updated to it from XP at work n it was an easy transition for me and co workers I used 8 at home its not my favorite but usable once you get around the mechanics of it.

    I believe if you are not tablet guru or you do not have a nice knowledge of tablets, you will be better off with W7 instead of W8.

    But know there is an update for W8 bringing back some W7 features

    windows 7 mostly because its more user friendly but win 8 is pretty good, you just have to get used to it

    windows 7 is much better and user friendly for me that is.

    Windows 8. Boot a computer cold start in 8 seconds. A lot faster and more responsive than any previous Windows OS.
