The question can they play what u play. They only focus on one type music which a caribbean dj play it all n mix them all too we people dont play only one selection we play for all people. A dutch dj will make u aunt n uncle sit down but can we caribben dj play a track to make they uncle n aunt dance yes we can.
Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold & Paul Van Dyk are a few of the all time most popularly ranked brands of EDM Djs in the world, however neither are better or the best when it comes to actual Disc Jockeying skills. The core difference lies in their sound, composition & production styles. Tiesto has never sat in the studio & produced most of his own music his entire career, yet he is the most popular Dj the world has known. Today we have brands such as Swedish House Mafia playing pre mixed Cds to packed crowds while pretending to actually mix live. Sadly, it's not necessarily about skill or talent when it comes to the reality of the music industry today or who & what is in the mainstream. That being said, there are lots of Djs with exceptional performance skill and talent both on the decks & in the studio who go unnoticed. Eddie Halliwell, James Zabiela, Deadmau5, John Askew & Cosmic Gate are just a few of them.
Best Dj in the world is subjective because we all have our much loved genre of music.Example Germany #1 DJ playing trance in a soca party is asking for trouble.
