    If you are at a West Indian party and you ask them if they want to hear anything special and they tell you "put on some locals". What does that mean?

    Locals? The versions of songs that, for example, Kanchan and Sundar sang over.

    There's a few in Guyana Choice Vol 1

    And many others dotted around this site
