I need a new laptop.

Man i'm looking at getting a new laptop.

The age old debate over Windows and Macs. go at it.

I'm trying to decide to get this
Asus 2-in-1 "Tab Top"
You know they can be used like a laptop, and then you can flip the screen over and use it as if it is a tablet.

Windows 8.1 or the New OS X Yosemite?

I mean "better bang for the buck" if I go for the Asus.
with an extra few hunid for a new iphone or something.

Or with the mac, I'll get the optical drive, built in so I won't have to buy it separately.

B/c worse case scenario.

I can't. I forgot my cd drive thing at home.


So yeah.


And well. I mean I guess apple things do kinda last a little long.
but before you even walk out the apple store, it already lost some value. lol

 

I'm looking to buy a new laptop too. I don't want to get either. Are these 2-in-1's durable, or are they still buggy?

I plan to use the laptop for dj mixed cd's (Acid Pro), advertising creation (Photoshop and other Adobe software), Live dj software (Traktor/Serato), YouTube vids, movie downloads, etc....

i5? Quad core? Macs are pricey. How about Acer? Toshiba?

I've heard good things about Lenovo.

 

whatever laptop you get, make sure it has an SSD.
