    which macbook do you have?

I have a 2010 macbook pro with 8gb ram and 1tb hybrid drive
I Installed yosemite since it came out, the only thing i noticed is that the computer takes a bit longer to boot up compared to mavericks and mountain lion. Other than the boot up time, everything else is good. I don't mind the boot up time since i never shut down the macbook lol.

I have a early 2011 pro that had 4gb of ram and after installing Yosemite, the mac was on its knees... I ended up upgrading the ram to 16gb and now the mac is just like when I first got it.

Yosemite is pretty good for me. When i run Serato Dj thats when it messes up. It lags and times out so much.

I run SDJ without any issues. What are the specs of your laptop?
