    I use VSO downloader, really easy interface..and you can download multiple videos at a time.

    go to the site cnet then select download. there you you find all the download everyone else is downloading including you tube.

    The simplest way is to type "ss" in the browser when you are looking at the video you want to save, for example www.ssyoutube.com/watch$#*&%e$*&# ..... this will then open another window which gives you the option to save the video clip to different file types.

    i use Free Youtube Download from dvdvideosoft.com. When installed, just copy and paste the youtube video link into the main window. It allows you to change the quality of the video you downloading among other features
