Do you receive any type of errors before the system goes blank?

Load-up screen, you mean the BIOS startup or the post screen?
    Or the Windows loading-screen?
Please be more specific, also share your configuration please and did you change something lately on the computer?

If you have formatted the computer and there is no Operation System anymore, there is no other solution as to install Windows/Other OS again.
If you could, connect the internal harddrive to an external HDcase and backup the data first, if possible.

normally if it was just a format done badly it would say no bootable drive with os installed or a similar message OR there would be a blinking cursor at least. A totally blank screen suggests that the error is at the motherboard. According to the first screen...hit F1 and go to the section that states what drives are installed. How serious the problem depends on if any hard drives are detected. But from experience...if all you did was a "reformat" and did not change any BIOS settings and the computer was booting fine before....then the OS may just need reinstalling properly.

Where do you live? Maybe I can help you out. Can you boot from usb? I have windows on a usb stick. Or we can make a bootable dvd for you. Let me know.
