WMA has a bigger file size but i hear it has better quality than MP3'S. I also hear that WMA's dont work good on programs like Serato & VDJ. Safe to use WMA or stick to MP3?

mp3 is more versatile, as it plays with serato. wma does not.

well you can get a codec for seroto etc but wma vs mp3 to me i don't really hear much of a difference but stick with mp3 if you cant get a codec

High quality MP3 works fine for me all the time. Important to listen to your music before dont just download it analyze and them play a party and be like wow that sounds like crap cuz its probably just a bad mp3 file which could have been solved by just downloading a better copy of the song.

If you want to go higher end for studio recordings go with WAV lossless or AAC formats. Both compatible with Serato.
