If you check the CDC : http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/data_statistics/fact_sheets/tobacco_industry/hookahs/ They said doing a hookah/shisha setup for about hour is about the same as smoking 10+ cigarettes an hour. Those pens are almost as bad as smoking hookah/cigarettes because they also contain high levels of nicotine (in liquid form). I've yet to see the "herbal" hookah/sisha around NYC that people claim are not harmful. My take on them is that they are as dangerous as cigarettes, if you're willing to do cigs, then they shouldn't be a problem.
I like to enjoy a good hookah every now and then but those pens are bad. The metal and plastics they use in them burn and you inhale the chemicals. Not to sound like a debbie downer but true story.
i buys the BLU menthol whenever i go to a party or have to DJ. pretty cool. its been 3 years now since i quit smoking cigarette. i must say BLU helps me when i drinks.
I've done Sheehsa occasionally. It's hard to believe it's that bad for you, though I have been to some sketch places where YOU KNOW they put a lot of wrong sh** in there.
http://blogs.wsj.com/cmo/2015/08/27...al-smoking-hookahs-as-cigarette-use-declines/ They're trying to stop hookah use saying it's the same as cigarettes. I wish there was real evidence that is is bad. You hear so many conflicting stories how the water is supposed to filter out all the bad stuff but then you hear it still affects you like cigarettes because of the presence of tobacco and burning coal. When I do buy shisha I make sure it's 0 nicotine inside, so then it's basically just flavor you're smoking no tobacco/nicotine. I don't do it everyday, like once in a blue moon I'd grab a smoke with some friends for a half an hour - 45 mins tops. I know people who smoke hookah every damn day.. you know for sure that ain't healthy.
Hey Infamous, i smoke the 0 nicotine shisha also. i uses the hydro herbal and i does it once every 2 or 3 weeks. i don't feel any presence of tobacco. I've quit smoking for 2 going 3 years now and never have the urge for a cig the next day.
Some people smoke cigarette, some drink, some use drugs and some use Sisha. Done it 3 times myself, and it's very nice (with a good taste).
Last i heard, there was no real hard evidence on the long term effect of those Vape pens, since they just came out couple years ago. But I find it hard to believe that they would be worse than cigarettes...
