A long time ago I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Gio and used Clockworkmod to install Android 4.x. Now I have a non-rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I think it's risky to root this one :)

I dont want to brick my phone. I know its easy to root, but I am afraid that it will go the wrong way. + I have also apps that wont work if a device is rooted.

2 apps (offered by our ISP) to watch tv on our mobile device.

If rooting was more easier I would go for it. Jailbroken iPhone all the time!

    rooted note 4 - with lollipop 5.0.1

I have a note 4 that is rooted with android 5.1.1 . Rooting makes for great enhancements to the phone which would otherwise not be possible.

rooted. you should get the xposed mod. It allows you to control almost all the featured of your phone the way you would want too.

I tend to root every phone that I get. I've rooted all 3 smartphones I've had so far. How easy a phone is too root and how much development support it has is also key in my decision of getting a phone. So far I've rooted an HTC HD2, Moto G, and Oneplus One

True! However, if you also install a custom Rom (which I did on my Note Edge), you will create more possibilities on the Note 4.

I rooted my note 4 but I really dont see a point any more other than over clocking the cpu. The iphone still have much more customizability that needs to be added for ios so I would still jb my iphone of I had one
