how to record a instrument on my pc

    hi guys. i play guitar. but can anyone tell me how to record my guitarsound on my laptop proffessionally?
    which software do i need?

    Garage Band recommend if you have a macbook. Works well.

    If you just want to record, windows has got a simple program to record called "recorder" at start -> accesoires

    What kind of guitar is it? Can you connect it to your computer?
    In Windows there is a free programm called: Audio recorder, you can use this to record the instrument.

    Depends on the quality you are trying to achieve and how much are you willing to spend on equipment such as cables, mics etc

    you may need a to buy an audio interface to connect your guitar to a computer software

    I HIGHLY recomend garage band but if you have windows get vmware and get a copy of mac os and ye have good asf equpment
    or you can you fl studio to record idk how but its possible

    if you want professional sound recording and mastering. route the audio through ABLETON LIVE. CHECK OUT TUTORIALS ON YOUTUBE.

    THERE are several tutorials and how to vids.
    GOOGLE OR YOUTUBE
    i did this with a live rig set up of dj equipment and its awesome
