malwarebytes and avira are pretty good. avg imo is the worst. if you want an AiO solution check out https://www.reddit.com/r/TronScript/

i work freelance pc repairs/troubleshooting and i gotta tell you, tronscript is a godsend.

but your best alternative is to do a clean restore

    Malwarebytes

    Spybot

Use both in safemode with updated def's and you'll be fine.

I started using AVG over Microsoft Essentials and AVG is much better. Even the free version.

I use the free version of Malware Bytes. It's really good. It detects spyware, malware, and all those other stuff. Use the free version and put in the product key (which you get upon download). Just download it off their website.

There's no such thing. Microsoft has Security Essentials (Free) and it's renamed to Defender in Windows 10. It's pretty good. You just have to know what's actually and running vs what should really be installed and running. CCleaner is a great tool for finding Malware that's set to start at boot and run at various intervals which slow down your machine. Check Tools->Startup
