yeah this year so far compared to maybe the previous 3 years has been disappointing. vybz music has a weird vibe to it (understandably) and he continues to put out the bulk of the material. Haven't really clicked with anything he's put out since he went to jail. alkaline seems to be dominating but even his stuff is just...strange. money me a look riddim is hottest "new" riddim everyone seems to be latching on to "on fleek" now (even tho its been out for like a year lol) waiting for new popcaan tho he hasn't put anything too recent. last couple years has been really good for popcaan i have to admit i thought he looked foolish in the "only man she want vid" but gladly i was wrong about him his stuff is usually fresh. aidonia was active last 2 years, hasnt really put anything new out. and if you listen to his songs anyway its all the same "***** tight' "sit down pon buddy" lyrics business. dancehall has been on the decline past few years anyway
