cheap: lowering springs, downfall is that your struts will blow shortly after installing the aftermarket springs. reliable: coilovers, adjustable height and other adjustments depending on what make and model you get (dampening, compression, etc)
Ive been running coilovers for almost 4 years now. I can always change rims and fiddle with the coils to make them fit flush with the rims. Id suggest cleaning them or spraying them with some sort of penetrating fluid every so often so they don't seize up on u.
Depends on your budget, if you are on a budget go with springs but spend the extra for the Eibach or H&R, if you want to spend a little more go coilovers because it gives you a better ride and flexibility.
Agreed! Coil overs are the best. You will have the choice to raise and lower when you like. I lower my 05 TL - Tein coilovers in the summer and raise them for the winter ride when I add the winter tires here in Toronto. Don't cut the springs man!
