I personally believe the Mac is a more stable operating system and in General Mac products have high end components in them while a Windows machine can have high end components depending on who built it, but the OS isnt as stable as IOs.

Don't get me wrong but a Mac is definitely much easier for accessibility when it comes to music productions. But my option is it depends on the actual software's you will use for your production. For instance, especially if the software is built more for Windows PC verses a Mac, your only alternative is to use it on the Mac but will be running dual OS which will ran into issue at some point later on. Bottom line, if you're really acquainted with a Mac and the softwares you will be using is mostly for Mac's, then stick to a Mac otherwise go with a PC.

I agree with crazykenny. I would personally buy the Mac since you have the option of running Mac, Windows, or both via bootcamp. If you buy a regular PC you're pretty much tied down with running windows/linux OS's. I personally am a windows fan and find it to have better capabilities but apple's hardware is by far superior.

I would have to say Mac for Video Production, especially if you have knowledge of Final Cut Pro. For Music Production, Acid Pro and Virtual DJ are really cool on Windows and easily compatible with turntables.

Mac all the way, it's got Music production software and can confirm, Mac beats windows in terms of production. Besides, there's an app called Neural Mix Pro, it's helpful to extract Stems (harmonics/instruments, drums, vocals) that's only exclusive to Apple/Mac. (note, Neural Mix Pro is available on the App Store on Mac/Apple, not included with Mac's music production software)
