Depends on the state of the car, build, options etc. Etc

Try buying a vehicle under 100,000 miles, and in good condition.

yea a thorough inspection is a good idea. also do your research on the specific model (such as reliability) to see if having high milage is a bad idea or not

< 100000 miles ideal problems starts after that plus so if you get a car with this much mileage you might just have a few more year to keep it coz not sure it would last much longer than 5

it all depends on the car. Was it highway miles? Was the car in an accident? Does the seller have proof of regular service maintenance?
I bought a high mileage car before and it was ok. Just make sure and check everything or pay a mechanic to do it.

Get a pre-purchase inspection done. If it checks out clean and the price is right go for it.

Based on the mileage and age, the price seems to be quite high... like brian20 said, that could be a down payment for another ride.

Another thing to keep in mind is even though a car may have high mileage, it all comes down to how well it was maintained and driven...

Depends on the manufacture, I had an rsx with 250k miles before I sold it. Never skipped a beat.

Depends on the mileage, but the most optimal choice is brand new.

depends on if the car was properly maintained in its life.
