What are some of the differences you notice on the two?

Would the pioneer ever be like the Technic 1200mk2?

There's no real notable difference. The feel on both are very similar. However, Technics have proven to be more reliable. I've heard of a couple of Pioneer tables breaking down in some way. I do believe Pioneer's will take over. Its only a matter of time until technics become rare and the appreciation for them is lost within the new generations.

Technics will ALWAYS be the best because Pioneer has a plastic bottom while Technics is all metal, and the Pioneers gives feedback at 18,500khz.
