Real selectors don't need a hard drive to mix. I'd get a desktop over a laptop any day. When I go somewhere I'm not gonna be on a laptop. I keep all my music on my phone.

Personally, I rather a notebook. because they are portable and they are easy to move about with, plus the mobility of a notebook is very convenient. I find myself using it most of the time. Unless you into gaming and designing then i suggest you get a desktop :)

i spend more time on my macbook pro then my desktop.

i have to disagree with vibeson demand comment about real selectors dont need a hard drive to mix, i hope thats not reffering to using serato.

you arent any less of a dj if you use serato vdj automix traktor torq 2 ****ing ipods as long you playing music for some people your a dj and can call your self that if thats what you want.

i prefer a notebook because it is so much more convenient than a desktop, say even if your battery doesnt last as long on its own, it isnt that much of an inconvenience to hook it up somewhere than to have to wait until you were at home to do whatever business you had to do.

Yea Notebooks are compact and stuff, but to me Desktops have a better display and are faster.
