Hey guys, so I am getting back into the remix swing. Some issues I am having is that when I render a track, I want to render as a .WAV. I generally try to render as IEEE float (uncompressed) - 48,000Hz, 32 Bit, 5.1 PCM Float with the same Hz, same bit, etc. I try to do WAV because its uncompressed, MP3 is compressed and therefore I feel that quality can suffer.

I am also trying to work with Izotope imager, and some other tools. The main issue is my mix volume always sounds low, and and everything sounds so narrow, in some other mixes the bass sounds so full, and has good depth. Like you can feel the bass. I wish my mixes were like that.

Thanks if you can give me some advice.

You can get a lot of phase cancellation of the bass if you are not careful when remixing. Also most of the tracks you're gonna be remixing is already mastered, and compressed, so if you compress it again it's gonna lose a lot of energy.
