I myself looking for a cassette player with an auxillary output so i can convert some of my cassette into digital recordings (mp3s) As i really not want to buy a full radio for just aht lol
I believe now they have small cassette players that are the size of the cassette itself, so you can easily transfer to your computer. Check amazon or any electronic store
Almost 3 years later, but I HAVE TO say it hahaha.. I would never recommend those new small cassette players/walkmans. Because these have the cheapest (and only made nowadays) mechanism, which will make the recordings sound much worse (terrible wow and flutter, a lott of hiss and noise from the motor inside). Ur better of buying a standalone cassettedeck or a well known brand (AIWA, Akai, Panasonic, JVC) Walkman (best with built in Equalizer) if you really want it compact, but with good quality. Just connect the line out (or headphone out if Walkman) to mic input of your pc and record them digitally with Audacity. Tapes actually can and do sound quite decent, when played on good equipment.
I was luckily to get a Cassette Stereo with the double cassette player but only one side works lol. So i used the output speaker terminal and connect it to a Line Output COnverter into my PC Line Input and that works lol Thanks for the advise tho
