    My friend used to use two cassette decks and slow and speed up the two...

    Software wise. Pc dj trial. When the time was up, you just drag the pop-up to the bottom corner out of the way, and everything still worked as normal lol.

    I used to connect to a tape deck to record, because when I recorded with the same pc, It added a tonne of latency to the button presses.

    It was AtomixMP3 which is now Virtual DJ. I still use Virtual DJ tbh.

    I know this is not a DJ software but Fruity Loops was a cool program for making beats back in the day.. As for DJ software, the first would have to be Virtual DJ, then onto ITCH, and my favourite is DJAY by Algoriddim.

    Virtual DJ of course. I still think its one of the easiest to use. Can even do VideoDJing now.

    I went from Automix Dj to BPM Studio then went back when automix dj changed to virtual dj.
    There was another that I really liked but audio setup was way too complicated... OTS Turntables.
