    Simpson's been around way longer than family guy and its still going on..that what i like about it, and as it goes on the episodes get better and better..cause you know like some shows that are old and they still go on they lose their touch for example Drake and Josh..back around in 03 and 04 it used to be funny but now it's not..i used to watch it when i was smaller but now it sucks.

    Yeah the Simpsons have been out longer, and I give it up to the writers for keeping the show humourous and fresh week after week. I grew up with the Simpsons and I'm sure most of you here did too. When Family Guy debuted back in 99, I was like, those bastards just biting the simpsons. And I never watched it because I thought the frequent flashbacks and stupid humour was ****ed up. But I forced myself to watch an episode and couldn't stop watching ever since. I think I grew out of the Simpsons now. Family Guy does make me laugh more, and yeah the stupid humor makes you think wtf? but it's funny still.

    Family Guy !!!! But I've noticed they copy scenes from The Simpsons, But they make it wayyy better..

    damn thats a really hard one cause i love both of them.
    i guess i would have to go with family guy, but the simpsons have been doin their thing for almost 20 years now
