Your a couple of days late with that information. They thought he would've been able to go for the playoffs. But when he practiced they realized that the injury is just going to get worse. So instead of trying to play, he's going to get surgery. So yeah, he's out for GOOD.

The team seems pretty secretive about what happened to him, I know for a fact there's more to that injury than what they tell us. The whole reason they didn't say he was out for good and told people he coming back for the playoffs was to make sure no team would celebrate and KNOW they have a chance to win since KG is gone. Honestly, if you tell a team your playing the Celtics without KG they're mindset goes from 0% chance to win to a whole lot. Thats what Boston tried protecting, too bad it didn't work.

And Ben Wallace?? He was alright when he was with pistons but not now...... Lakers Got A Team going right now with a triangle power offense style where even there center and power foward can step out and knock down a jumper. This is my guess that the cavs and lakers will meet in the end... AND last year would have been a different story if Bryant Was Good For the finals against boston. People like Bynum who you've never heard of stepped up, now just imagine them playing healthy...
