Buying An External Harddrive

    is it bad to plug in an external through usb AND firewire at the same time?

    I GOT 3 Externals 1 firewire and 2 usbs and no problems watsoever and the firewire one is with usb works fine to me

    ok so my sisters fiance wants to buy me a external hard drive i told him idk yet.

    so what is it basically? is it just used for extra space or what?

    is it any good .yes more space on ur destop or laptop cost in expencive

    It's good for putting your music on it instead of your computer moving slow. It's also perfect if you have to reformat windows you can put everything on your computer into the external. Look into getting one though, I recently but a 500GB external for $79.99, thats a good deal.

    I have 4 WD Externals. 1x 400gb, 1x 500gb, 2x 1tb. WD has never given me any problems. If I was you, I'd go with WD. Plus Seagate externals are going bad.

    get a 500gb those are much better and buy a western or seagate those will last long

    i wuould say the best external hard drive to get is the western digitl the 500 gb $100

    That site got some great deals on computer parts and other electronic accessories.

    I recommend that you get a Western Digital external drive. They last long (make sure you take care of it and don't be the average owner and leave it on a subwoofer!) and works decent for me. I bought a 1TB Essential Edition drive for $150, but the cashier gave me a better price.
