DCP - A 2009 Love Story [DJ Biggs]

Alright a few days ago i release a cd on this site which can be found here:

well nice selection of songs but how would chalka chalka be Love Story?
is it a selection of love songs? if it is chalka chalka? dats most winein an jukkin up song
Majority of the songs u remixed are more of songs to dance to (I know I would dance to it)
Some of da love songs u remixed are nice songs for da rain an when couples hug an listen to while
it rains (yes my fantasies) lol.
But yeah good job other wise =)

 

lol well i just named the cd that because i had nothing else to name it to, plus it was a selection not from me, but my girl. But thanks for your voice of opinion.

Whaaat, your girl chose "mujhe thand lag rahi hai"? she has good taste in music lol. i liked the song selections very much, including the remixes of them. however i do agree that the cd and title do not suit, but who cares? lol. for "le lo re le lo babu", i felt the "kick" was missing after the 1st beat was cut off - wasnt feeling the other beat much. i was surprised that you remixed "laakhon taare". watch mad ppl start mixing it lmao and they wouldnt know anything about the song anyways lolll... all in all i enjoyed the cd. its nice to relax to.

LOL, she knows her songs...and thats what i was saying about the title, i really didn't care about the title that much, i care more about the quality of the cd as this is my 3rd indian cd i made, but first one to be released to public and i wanted some feedback

Mujkho Thand - love the song + remix. nice perc's and ting added to keep it interesting
Jiska - i still dont like that clap thing! aside from that, wicked mix
Ek Masoom - Nice concept with the radica beat, just watch the vols
Lelo Re - CHUNE! What happened @ 1:52? A bad chop? The dholak break aint sound too good there either
Apne Pyaar - Pretty nice mix, maybe a lil much highs
Jab A Chaye - i really dont like this song, but i like how u mixed it. bassline sounded good!
Chalka - watch chune =) i love that tassa pan thingy
Kaise Mulaquaat - Prolly one of my favoUrite mixes on this cd. Love the big bamboo + bassline! I didnt like the tassa too much in this one, but hey thats me. I didnt like some of the breaks e.g. @ 32 secs and 42 secs. Still i love the mix
Jeevan Saathi - im annoyed that you aint do a full mix! Grr..
Whole Day Whole NIght - chune! your beats were a lil too busy this time and/or a touch too loud.
****ery - i LOVE this mix. Want to see more of these mixes being done =)
Yaar Bina - Hmm not much to say
Pyaar DIl Mein - chune! nicely mixed
Mere Dekh - not a fan of the beat
Aao Chalo - chune again. busy ass beat, sounded a lil tooo crazy.
Jeevan Path - ah now we get to my sorta chunes =) that cowbell worked suprisingly well! This is the sorta chune all them drunk man would dance to at the end of a party LOL love it!
Yeh Ladka - thumbs up for only mixing 40 secs ;x
Oh Mere Raja - nothing can touch the mix of this on Bar Anthem. Meh just didnt like the beats u used too much.
Doctah Babu - pretty good stuff
Hum Tumhe - something is annoying me in this mix. dunno what it is yet. maybe the cowbell thingy?i like how you used everybody dancing though.
Aisa Laga Koi - reckon you could put a few more bpms on this one
Hum To Hai Chui - ever since i heard this mixed on Masterpiece Gold i loved this song. Beats Q's mix ( no offence lol ) Nice soca feel on the breaks with the whistles etc
Aiyo Yoo - lol now you're pushing it with the soca feel ;x chune though
Dila Mera Chupa - wicked chune to finish the cd with. I hear a couple drifts (e.g. 24/25 secs), if im being picky.

Final Word - i love the song selection, and your mixing style. You already know these oldies are my kinda chunes =) Sound quality gotta be worked on. I dunno how much effort you put into eq/mastering, but when id blast some of the chunes, it doesnt sound too good. And i think thats it for now, anything else i'll let you know! Hope my lil reviews hav helped Biggs!
