from venom:: what you need to do is gather up few black dudes pay em couple bucks and let them **** up the sweat shops where bootlegging is occuring...should cut down after that.

that is the most funniest shit i have heard. i guess you is one of those coolie that is shit scared of black people. Let me tell you something it don't matter what color you are your ass is still gonna drop the same hard way. What Roger is saying i completely agree with but the rest of you that is talking all of this i can put my last dollar on it that all of you own a bootlegged copy of a cd.

To me the best way to cut out the bootlegging and this is coming from a person that has done bootlegging is to offer the stores a better option. Listen when you make these CD's you have paid for them already whether all or none has sold. First off never pay the DJ up front. Pay him a percentage according to sales. Listen what the DJ is doing is the easiest part of the process. The distributor who has to make the CD has all the leg work to do. Once the CD is made and you take it to the store sell it to them at the same $1.50 per CD however give them a good deal. Tell them you leaving them X amount of copies and as they sell they pay you. Not as they please but on a weekly basis.

lot of these stores are bootlegging because they have to pay for the CD's up front not knowing if it is going to sell or not. Put yourself in their shoes if your taking a risk wouldn't you rather pay a $1 for a CD compared to $1.50.

Then you have some stores regardless of what price you give them are still gonna bootleg because they get the long term credit from the bootlegger. For those stores i say make a deal with them. tell them they need to take X amount of Cd's from you and then after that do what the hell they want.

Personally i do not care about all the labels out there but I am hoping that all bootleggers stop making the DEJOINT CDS because Roger is a cool straight forward guy and has the top guys on his label and when you have good Cd's like that coming out he should be making the right amount of money and not losing out to anyone else.

So if all you guys want to keep the remixing business going you know what you gotta do. Don't try to be cool with everyone on this site and say what they want to hear. Actually go out there and buy the original CD. Also keep in mind an original CD is not always pressed it is also Duplicated and some may also have paper on it.

Bootlegging is if someone makes a copy of a CD that was made and distributed by some one else and they are selling.

yeah, he knows what he's talking about. but do you? do you even reread what you post? does anything you write make sense? stop posting pointless shit. when you reply it should be to bring your own point to the table or add to what somebody else is saying. what are you really doing?

roger and all them distributors should put signs on the stores wa give people steps to tell if a cd is original or not, since its sadly not enough that the covers themselves tell you how to. If the stores refuse to put up the sign, then dont do no business with them. What gets me is how people buy bootleggs...see it doesnt work but yet go back the week after and buy another bootleg. The stores dont care that the cds na work cus the dumbasses come and buy them crap shits anyway.people need to be more educated on whats original and whats not...cus obviously there dumbasses dont read the instructions on the cover to check lol..just a thought.

The Demand For Remixed CD Has Lost Its Edge. Most Of You DJz Keep On Remixing The Same Thing Over And Over, and Over Again. And Now It's Reached A Point Where Stores Are Bootlegging Your Stuff Because The Consumers Are Not Buying The CDz. And The Reason They Are Not Buying Is Because You Guys Are Remixing The Same Songs. Do You See The Cycle Here?

Now Don't Get Me Wrong Here, I've Seen A Few Good Original CDz, But The Underlying Fact Is That The Other CDz Are Pretty Much Garbage, And The Majority Of The CDz Being Released Sucks! Like There Will Be One Really Good Original CD One Day And The Next Day There Will Be Like 4 Bullshit Release. The Way I See It, You DJz Brought This Upon Yourself, And The Producer For KBIS/ De Joint / (**** Icon RecordZ). Keep On Buying Into This And This Is The End Result... So Stop *****ing About How To Counter Bootlegging And Start By Being Original And Actually Putting Some Work Into These CDs...

No Dream is totally incorrect. And hear me out on this , I am not going to tell you which cds sell what but there are cds I put out that I totally think is garbage and guess what the cds actually sells. Go figure the same shit that people complain about same song, they buy the same damm thing over and over than the one they don't know. Dream u delete the Kollie ting cd from your pc , but guess what go to any friggin store pon liberty and ask them how that cd selling. So like i stated before I am not going to knock they people who buy cds at all, but sometimes I don't think even them know what they want.

And just a side note( I had people ask me why don't I fight for my stuff, I mean do this and do that) but here this I am a grown ass man with wife and kids that have more to think about at the end of the day. And if I was to do something I will go with the Gran torino attitude , sometimes you have to know when is the right time to strike.

Roger you could not have said it better. Listen you cannot pay attention to half of the things being said here because with no disrespect to anyone half of the people on this site do not have their parents permission to go to a cd store so they are not even your customer. Honestly i have not been doing this long but seriously once you put a cd out there and it has a nice cover it will sell. Damn bro i looking forward to Straight Outta Guyana ths weekend.

That means NUFF sense , i understand , you DJ , You Mix , You Put a CD out there , but when you Remix , Remix w/ Heart , Remix w/ feeling , the ignorance of Coolie DJ`s is coming out A lot , same beats , same chunes , meh tell yuh .
Coolie DJ`s Can`t stand out no more , because they`re all staring to sound the same , only a COUPLE have versatility , & their own style

you dont understand how things work
this post is failure upon stupidity , like a sandwhich
you know peanut butter and jelly

    true story skunt

i think at this point its completely irrelevant
we all know that remix music and mix music is illegal because aint no body paying the artists for it.
but when someone takes the original remix and mix music and makes it into bootlegs then thats an issue.
tossing it around online is cool, its the stores that sell the boot's to people who actually go out and buy the cd every weekend , thats where the problem is

I know who you're talking about. those bengalis on 121 at the corner lmao. all of their shit is fake. i bought a dvd from there n two times that junk wouldnt work properly. it was noticable that the disk was fake but my dumbass said **** it lmao. anyway i still returned it to the whore in there n got back my money :)

lmao n yes, something is wrong wit that cuz ppl might not trust you :pirate_laugh:

this whole market will crash regardless lmao. n plus ppl are already gettin tired of the same songs over n over again, n starting to learn how to remix for their own use. combining unknown songs wit known songs, putting a hot beat on them, playing them at parties n what not lol. n since its on their own time limit, theyll put more into the cd rather than the ones that are selling. most likely try to push their own copies. w.e. n its not like acid pro cant be obtained for free too. coolie ppl know how to get around these things lol.

    either way, its a fail.
