Hello racoon. Notice where I said 'real world applications' meaning, lets say some nigga wanna build a computer to lets say mix, play crysis 2, and watch porn; how much more real world can u get.. Ok. So you gonna tell me, you'd rather go spend $300 on an i7 870, when you can get a phenom 1090t that will kick its ass for $200, maybe less? Now to your argument; the 970's ARE FASTER, but until the day comes where amd makes a $1000 processor, you can't compare. Everything else? Not worth it. You can get better performance for less money, remember what I said. Real world applications.

Its like comparing a ferrari to a 300zx, maybe their faster(some of them), but if you wanna do 9 seconds down a drag strip, i think everyone would rather invest 10k into a 300zx than 150k+ into a Ferrari, both of which would be outdated & possibly replaced after a year.

Killa, nice builds. I'm not familiar with the brands you're using but they must be good for you to keep using them in all your builds. I see on your 4th PC you're doing a transparent Logisys case build. I'd like to see what it looks like when it's done. I personally think transparent cases are even harder to work with because you have to be really neat. I'm also a big fan of cold cathodes :D Anyways, do you manually overclock, or use the Dummy O.Cs? Not quite sure what you meant by overclocking with the RAM. Anyways, have fun with your builds. :)

nice builds killa, i wanna see some pix lol, and actually you can overclock ram speeds, like mine runs at DDR3 1600 ,but im sure i can push it more, i just dont do any overlocking, maybe my third build i might actually overlock my stuff, i usually just spend the money and buy the fast parts instead of overlocking, but like spliffy was telling me, u can really show your parts true potential by overclocking it and so on.

i always wanted a completely clear case too lol, it looks cool but its also hard to hide wires and stuff, and theirr petty expensive too, thats prob the main reason i never got one lol
