I'm trying to download the AIM software for my Blackberry, from Blackberry.com/aim and before I download it, it says i have to connect my Blackberry to the computer with the USB. So I did that and it keeps saying that "my blackberry doesn't support this software" I kept trying and it still doesnt work. Instant Messaging is included in the plan with text messaging. If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
Yeh he have a point. The problem may be that the version of aim that you're trying to install is not compatible with the blackberry software - it might be too old or new.. Have you tried using different versions? And\Or would a website such as meebo or ebuddy work?
Ok, I just called and they said you need to have internet to have IM even though IM was included in my text messaging plan.
u need the 29.99 internet service, try using "beejive" cant really get anywhere with the 5.99 tzones plan or no internet at all on a blackberry, what blackberry btw? http://www.beejive.com/
Alright before i do that, how do I connect my blackberry to my Internet Connection? (Not the internet on the blackberry) I'm talking about like connecting my phone to my router connection.
I dont know about any wired internet connection and i do not think its possible, you'll need to subscribe to the internet package from t-mobile if you want more out of the blackberry. Wait, Have u tried using WiFi?
I was just on the Blackbery website and it says the 8100 does support Wi-Fi. I know the WAP settings is wap.voicestream.com, but it's not working.
http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_pearl_8100-1701.php it doesn't support wifi :S... i know the blackberry 8120 does support that...and the CDMA model supports GPS
well you either have your wap settings messed up or if all is good there you can call blackberry themselves and they can make changes to your phone from there system...
