I've been looking around to buy another external harddrive and I was on Bestbuy.com.
    I saw this:

SimpleTech - SimpleDrive Turbo 500GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive - Black

Is this good? It costs 80 dollars

Ok, so I'll try and find a cheap 1TB even though thats alot for me. I still have alot of space left on my 320 GB Western Digital right now. But is the brand, SimpleTech, any good? I think 500GB is good for me and that was a good price, $79.99

I wouldnt trust eBay on buying hard drives because anyone can sell it there and by the time it gets to you, if they didnt package it right, it might get screwed up, leaving out the fact they could send you one that's already dead and theres no much you can do about it.

careful with what drives you buy, specially if its dirt cheap, my friend is a photographer, tons of pictures and lifelong memories down the drain when his so called "western digital hard drive 7200 " turned out to have a samsung hard-drive 5200rpm inside of a WD case which later crashed and had to pay a very good amount to restore his shit which i don't even know if he got all his stuff back...he purchased it from newegg.com btw

No, 2 of my WD drives ****ed up, my 500gb feel from like 6 inches, and then i lost like 65gbs of data... and then what jigouttrev said about his friends drive, that was mine.. i bought a passport drive to back up my data because i was gonna reformat my laptop, and then i backed up my data, reformatted my laptop the next day, and then 2 days later when i was going to restore the data, the drive didn't work, tried it in 3 different computers still didn't work.. I trust Seagate and Simpletech though.
