My sister left me her computer before she moved out but she doesn't know the password to her account. Its the master account and she has it set to where it disables me from downloading anything. This is really irritating me. I really do not want to restart the computer, so if you guys have anything for password recovery that does not involve downloading a program please let me know. Thanks.

Theres a program called ophcrack that you burn to disc. when you boot your computer, you boot from the disc and it retrieves the password.

you can burn the img using a portable version of imgburn. and you can download ophcrack for free too. Just use google.

Use Imgburn to burn the ophcrack .iso file to a blank cd and boot from the cd when you restart the computer.

You can also hit CTRL + ALT + DEL twice in a row. When you're in the log in screen. Then you can log in as an Administrator wich mostally don't have a password. And ya can change the password OR delete the pasword in the system panel screen.
