google nexus 7 tablet

anyone got a google nexus 7 tablet? i'm thinking of getting one, if anyone got one let me know what u think of it.

 

every review i've read for them have said they are awesome for the price point. I have an iPad and am considering a Nexus 7 for the girlfriend as she likes the capabilities of the iPad but doesn't want something as large.

we may wait for the upcoming ipad Mini (or whatever its going to be called)

but I'm also interested in real world reviews on the nexus 7...

 

My friend has one and I played around with it. It's a great Tablet. Perfect form factor. I'm actually getting rid of my Xoom for one.

 

As a tech guy who loves to read different reviews and test out products on my own, I haven't gotten to touch a Nexus 7 tablet as of yet. From the commercial I watched, I think it definitely is a good tablet with all that has to offer as well as a wide range of apps from the Google Play store. Hardware and software seems to be good and there shouldn't be any fuss with it.

But if you're willing to wait it out till October and if your girlfriend loves the iOS UI, then wait for the iPad Mini to come out. It's really up to your choice of what you like. Open-sourced Android or closed, easy-to-use iOS.

 

UPDATE: Bro, I own a Nexus 7 tablet and I can tell you that I love it! If you want the fast speeds of opening an app and getting on it as soon as possible with other great apps from the Play Store, you would definitely want this tablet.

iPad 3 is awesome in its own way but instead of double clicking for switching tasks, just press one button on the Nexus 7 and you got your opened apps. It's faster, brighter, entertaining and a superb choice to get.
