    Wtf is going on?
This morning i had turned on my computer, and a few hours later i came back to it. It eventually went into sleep mode. When i moved the mouse nothing appeared on the screen. It wasn't in sleep mode any more. I restarted by pressing and holdin down the power button. when it loaded up, the lil box shown above showed up^^.

Is this really important and something that can "kill" my computer?
Any help and suggestions will be nice.

    Btw... THIS IS URGENT!!!!!!!

Well it is what it says, your hard drive is beginning to fail

after this point, your hard drive could last a month, a year, who knows, maybe even a day. Reformatting usually won't help. I suggest backing up your data, and replacing the hard drive. You don't wanna be in the middle of an acid project and just have ur hard drive crash.

Hitachi deskstar hard disks are knowing for failing. Your hard disk is about 4-5 years old so its time to upgrade to something newer anyways. Backup all your data ASAP & get a new hard drive; preferably a segate barracuda

that seems just fine, why dont you opt for a terebyte or more ? hard drives have gotten dirt cheap now. especially for desktops. newegg.com would give better deals.

    @ sikotic

just make sure your current drive is a SATA drive and not IDE to make it simpler for you. If it's a sata drive, then ur good to go

go with a SSD for your core windows install and 7200rpm HD for storing your files. you will get a good performance boost from it.
