What Type Of internet u got? dsl..cable..? usually you need to change the routers gateway address differently from the modem so they both dont conflict with each other... for instance.. i dunno if u have Verizon Dsl or road runner but The default gateway is 192.168.1.1 and for D-link It might also be the same..if it is..try changing the D-link gateway Address to 192.168.2.1 and see if that helps. Best Of Luck.

time warner and earthlink are 2 different companies..so what exactly is the problem? when your online with xp and the vista computer signs on the network it boots you off? and for linksys you should set it to automatic DHCP And Make Sure Your Modem And Router Do Not Have The Same Gateway Address.. as u mentioned it was 192.168.0.1 .. you should make sure that it is different from the modem and router. lemme know what the problem is and what the 2 ip address are set to and ill get bak to u.

good idea jairam.. check the sites for updates for the router and updates for the network cards in each computer etc.. also if possible call up your internet service provider see if they can give you better soloutions.
