How to build an FM radio station?

    I'm trying to learn how to build an FM radio station from scratch but all the guides that I've Google'd say seek the advice of a professional broadcast engineering. I don't know any engineers! Anyone know where I can find a decent step-by-step guide/place to buy equipment? I'm not too far from Toronto.
