I've actually tried this way with a few cassettes and with success!
Here are some general steps, I'm not really a computer tech-y person but these should put you on the right path:
    1) Check if your laptop has a direct mic output jack - it should look like the headphone jack you use, but with a little microphone symbol
    2) Download an audio program that can record - I found audacity works great
    3) Go into the microphone settings in control panel and change it to "In-line" setting.
    4) Get a standard 3.5mm audio cord with both ends male (so you can connect one end into your computer, and one into your cassette player/stereo
    5) Connect one end of the audio cord into the headphone jack on your stereo/cassette player and the other end in the microphone jack on your laptop/computer
    6) Hit record on the audio program and play the cassette on the stereo. You might need to experiment with volume, bass, etc. so do a couple of trials before you record the whole cassette
    7) Once you are done, then you can just split the large audio file into tracks, edit the sound quality and save as .mp3

    Hope this helped.

Before doing this you have good knowledge abt converting audio cassette to compact Disc
then buy any Cassette player connect to PC or Lapi then
record audio using audacity Software then Save file in audio Formet

Connect Hardware Parts very Carefully to Desktops or lapis
