iPod Classic 5G

    I wuz updating my iPod Classic 5G wen I 1st got it & it juz shut off & hazn't turned bak on since. That was a few yrz ago. I found it again & tried 2 charge it & stuff, but it doesn't work. Any1 kno if itz datz d end of it or iz there sumtin i could do?

    I got 2 iPod Touch 4G'z now, but juz wanted 2 c if my old 1 would work.

    plug it in to charge and leave it for awhile. you will see "please wait battery charging" after awhile it should power on. if not the battery needs to be replaced.

    You can always take it back to a apple store and they will give you a new one. Warranty doesnt matter because they keep track of them by serial number. Mine wasnt working either. I purchase it when it first came out and last year i took it to the apple store and they give me a new one in 2 days.

    i had a classic 80gb and i was doing an itunes update and my ipod classic was plugged in and it like messed up my ipod badly couldnt do nothing just stopped working. But when i went to the apple store they couldnt find the problem and gave me a brand new one. One thing with the classics an apple expert was telling me was they they have a loose part in them that moves around and usually after 4-5 years ull need a new one. Hard drive usually goes
